Merchandise Manager
As a Merchandise Manager for MADE Hoops full time, my main tasks consisted of:
Inventory Management and Tracking of Merchandise to various events across the United States
Travel 3x per month around the U.S. to sell merchandise on-site at basketball tournaments
Manage our warehouse and flow of customer orders being shipped out + manage warehouse invoices
Act as the main point of contact for merchandise customer service to guide customers through any issues they may have
Solve shipping issues for event merchandise and/or handling customer order shipping issues and chargebacks/returns/exchanges
Post and manage paid ads weekly
Mentor Interns and merchandise sales employees
My favorite experience working with MADE Hoops was working their SLAM Magazine x NBA youth basketball tournament in New York.
I was able to see the NBA headquarters in New York City and work alongside the SLAM and NBA teams to ensure a successful outdoor basketball event that was being televised.
During the event, I sold merchandise for SLAM magazine and managed/trained part time employees, while balancing full time work.
