Jonathan Anderson Dior Menswear Debut in Paris
The invite to Jonathan Anderson’s highly anticipated menswear show in Paris was a porcelain plate topped with eggs. The eggs are meant to symbolize ‘the start of something’, while the plates were pulled straight from the archives.

Those who did not receive an invitation could attend a viewing party at a Paris bar.
Anderson is currently the sole Creative Director of menswear, womenswear, couture and across accessories.

“While at Loewe, he built the house’s legacy. At Dior, he’s following in the footsteps of designers who defined their era, including Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri.
He will have to carve out a place for himself among all these illustrious predecessors and assert his own style, while still respecting the house’s codes.”
Benjamin Simmenauer, Professor at Institut Français de la Mode
Seen Front Row at the show included Dior ambassadors such as Rihanna and Robert Pattinson.
Designers and creative directors came to show their support including Donatella Versace, Simon Porte Jacquemus, Pharrell Williams, Chemena Kamali, Silvia Venturini Fendi, Jack McCollough, Lazaro Hernandez & more.

Anderson was fully supported by the entire Arnault family who were present at the show.
The menswear collection was inspired by Dior’s heritage 18th century archives, featuring a series of waistcoats from 1710 to 1865 that had been reproduced.

The SS26 menswear collection brings a new powerful vision of the Dior man:
“Elegant yet relaxed, simple yet special.”
