Paris Haute Couture Week

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF HAUTE COUTURE

Couture remains fashion’s highest art form and discipline. Each design is carefully hand-crafted with the highest quality materials.

Couture exists as a living archive of fashion history and innovation while inspiring designers, editors, private clients and global tastemakers.

Legally, not every fashion maison can participate at Paris Fashion Week. Brands must meet certain requirements that are controlled by Paris’ Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.

Requirements include maintaining an atelier in Paris with 15+ full-time artisans and 20+ full-time technical personnel, produce made-to-measure garments for private clients, and present a collection of at least 25-35 original designs executed to the highest of technical craftsmanship.

VALENTINO SPRING 2026 COUTURE

The Valentino show audience peered through squares to view the collection, inspired by the Kaiserpanorama, a 19th century circular viewing device for immersive visual storytelling. The intimate setting was curated to make viewers slow down and focus on the detail and experience.
